At the start of each month, we will share upcoming opportunities from Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), the Data Lab, and other events that we have gathered from a variety of science and research organizations. Our goal is to promote learning opportunities and highlight some of the excellent resources that our community provides. - Multiple June dates - R for Data Science office hours (Virtual) - Office hours for answering questions about R. They are held throughout the month via Slack.
- June 6 - NCI Data Science Seminar (Virtual) - Processing Whole Genome, Methylation, and Copy Number Data Types at the GDC by Zhenyu Zhang, PhD and Bill Wysocki, PhD
- June 6-10 - Software Carpentry Workshop (Virtual) - This workshop teaches basic research computing skills such as program design, version control, data management, and task automation.
- June 14 - SITC-NCI Computational Immuno-oncology Webinar (Virtual) - Utilizing Correlative Studies for Drug Development: Computational Science in Immuno-Oncology by Lillian L. Siu
