- Wednesday, August 3 at 12pm Eastern time - ALSF's Childhood Cancer Speaker Series (Virtual) - Peter J. Houghton, PhD from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio will discuss challenges of patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models in producing results that lead to successful clinical therapies.

- August 6 - R-Ladies Gabarone - From Excel to R (Virtual) - Learn about R for reproducibility, visualizations, and handling large data sets.
- August 18 - R-Ladies Philly - August BookClub ISLR Tidymodels Lab (Virtual) - A series of “book club meetups to promote community-supported learning experiences.”
- August 18 - SITC-NCI Computational Immuno-oncology Webinar (Virtual) - Multiplex Imaging for Biomarker Development: Computational Science in Immuno-oncology by Janis Taube, MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with co-moderator, Riyue Bao, PhD from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center
- August 22-26 - Kids First Data Resource Center - Elements of Style in Reproducible Workflow Creation and Analysis (Virtual) - Learn about analyzing large-scale datasets, such as genomic and phenotypic data accessible through the Kids First Data Resource.
